The 19-year-old, an avid fan of the Portuguese footballing superstar, was on his trip to Indonesia when the incident happened with a local man, who had gotten into his face, holding a Lionel Messi action figure in a Barcelona t-shirt before telling him that his favourite footballer is ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Notably, IShowSpeed rose to fame in the world of live streaming in the last couple of years, and his love for Cristiano Ronaldo is well known to his fans on social media platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and elsewhere. On his latest sojourn to Indonesia, where IShowSpeed has created quite a presence, he wasn’t pleased with a Lionel Messi fan after telling him to take his words back in regards to calling the Argentinian better than his favourite footballer.

The local Indonesian man tried to get into the skin of IShowSpeed further by questioning him about whether Cristiano Ronaldo has a FIFA World Cup trophy in his cabinet. It is important to note that Lionel Messi won the coveted international football trophy for Argentina in 2022 in Qatar, while Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t been able to reach the final of the tournament with Portugal yet.
