YouTube streamer and social media sensation IShowSpeed nearly lost his mind after Indian batter Virat Kohli got out against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024. Despite this early scare, the Men in Blue managed to pull off a thrilling six-run win to take the top spot in Group A. Speed, who is massive Virat Kohli fan, was at the newly constructed Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York cheering for Team India.
IShowSpeed's Virat Kohli fandom has skyrocketed over the recent past with the American streamer coming to India and watching his favourite cricketer play in the ODI World Cup 2023. Speed is also seen trolling other players who are compared to Kohli like Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

Hence when Virat Kohli got out against Pakistan, IShowSpeed was dejected. The Indian opener started his innings with a brilliantly timed boundary through the off-side but after two more balls was caught in the covers by Usman Khan off Naseem Shah. After this wicket, Speed was extremely dejected as he was seen blurting out abuses.

Talking about the game, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was named the Player of the Match for his 3-14 in four overs he powered the Men in Blue to six-run win. Speaking in the post-match presentation, Bumrah said, "It feels really good. We felt we were a little under and the wicket got a little better after the sun came out. We were really disciplined so it feels good."
"Tried to hit the seam as much as I could, tried to be as clear as I could with my execution and it all came out well so I felt happy. Felt like we were playing in India, really happy with the support and that gives us energy on the field. We focus on the now. We’ve played two games and played really well. You stick to your processes and look to play well," he added.
