Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, pulled off one of the long-standing jokes on 16-time WWE Champion John Cena, trolling him with his famous catchphrase “You Can’t See Me.” Both famous personalities met each other for the first time before John Cena made an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast of Jake Paul’s elder brother Logan Paul.

When Jake Paul was having a training session to improve his boxing skills, John Cena met him while being accompanied by Logan Paul. But upon John Cena’s arrival, Jake Paul walked right past him without having a glance, extending his arm in the air to greet him instead.

“John bro, what’s up, man? Dude, I’m a huge fan,” remarked Jake Paul, which led to John Cena, standing on the other side, responding, “Nope. No, man, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” With that, both John Cena and Jake Paul gave a subtle nod to the “You Can’t See Me” joke, which became popular in the WWE in the mid-2000s, and stayed that way ever since.

I’m not officially done, but I’m close: John Cena on his WWE retirement

During his appearance on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul, the 16-time WWE champion John Cena spoke about the timeline in his mind to potentially retire from in-ring competition in the promotion. But at the same time, he confessed his love for the WWE and stated that he wants to say goodbye when he still feels fluent as a performer.

He was quoted as saying, “I'm not officially done, but I'm close. I can feel it...especially seeing you out there doing incredible stuff. And just our talent now, the product has become so crisp and so fast and so skilled. It is a different world. And I love it, and I still feel fluent and I would like to say goodbye when I am still fluent. So it's coming. To the point where...you know that moment in the sunset when it starts to go down? 'Man, it's going down really fast.' That's kind of where I'm at. I'm not done, but I need to decide when I am.”
