Jose Mourinho, the manager of Fenerbahce, was apparently spotted grabbing the nose of his opposing counterpart Okan Buruk of Galatasaray, who fell to the floor after a fiery Istanbul derby at the the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. It happened following the conclusion of the Turkish Cup quarter-final, which Galatasaray won 2-1 with two goals from Victor Osimhen, while for Fenerbahce, Sebastian Szymanski scored the only goal.
The incident occurred when both Jose Mourinho and Okan Buruk were having the post-match interaction with the officials, who were standing inside the centre circle. It was Mourinho, who went towards Buruk from behind before seemingly trying to pinch the nose of his opposing counterpart, who went down in a heap while covering his face with his hands.

I won't exaggerate this issue, but it wasn't a classy move: Okan Buruk
Following the aforementioned incident, Galatasaray have levelled an accusation on Jose Mourinho of “physically attacking” their manager Okan Buruk without any provocation. The Vice-President of Galatasaray, Metin Ozlurk was quoted as saying about the unfortunate turn of events in Istanbul, as per BBC Sport, “Our manager Okan and Mourinho congratulated the referees. After that, while Okan was continuing, Mourinho first verbally and then physically attacked him.”
“Where else in the world can he do this? What does he think of Turkey? I believe that Fenerbahce's management will impose the necessary sanction before the federation does,” Metin Ozlurk added. Meanwhile, Okan Buruk played down the incident with Jose Mourinho in the post-match press conference, stating that there is nothing between him and his opposing counterpart from Fenerbahce.
“He pinched my nose from behind. There was a slight scratch. Of course, it wasn't a very nice or elegant thing to do. We expect managers to behave more appropriately in such situations. I won't exaggerate this issue, but it wasn't a classy move,” Okan Buruk added.
