The Italian manager was livid at Di Maria’s poor play at a crucial moment. This mistake also allowed Lazio to counterattack. Further talking about the game, both teams failed to create good chances for most of the match but Juventus managed to hold the upper hand. Lazio didn’t look in top form and failed to trouble a tough Bianconeri defence. Later in the post-match press conference, Massimiliano Allegri talked about his anger and explained the reason behind the reaction.
He said, “In those moments, you must understand the game and the ball must be handled differently.” Allegri also praised Manuel Locatelli for his top performance as he said, “Locatelli, he played a game, not from a technical point of view, but from a human one. From the heart, from the head it is becoming an example for everyone, it never turns back.”
