In a hilarious moment on his livestream, Kai Cenat, a famed YouTube streamer, was seen chasing after Kevin Durant and Team USA, who were headed to the Accor Arena in Paris. Ahead of their men’s basketball gold medal match against France at the Paris Olympics 2024, when the Americans were boarding their team bus, Cenat spotted Durant before he ran towards him on the streets of Paris.
Notably, there were hundreds of people standing outside the headquarters of the USA men’s basketball team before their gold medal match at the Paris 2024, and Kai Cenat was one of them. When the New York-based content creator saw Kevin Durant board the team bus to the Accor Arena, he tried to get away from the French Police, to get closer to him.
Kai Cenat was sure about spotting Kevin Durant on streets of Paris
“Wait, let me go, let me go! I seen KD," said Kai Cenat said before he went after the team bus, nearly getting hit by a police officer on a motorcycle. Cenat was unable to find Durant, but he was quite sure about spotting the American basketball legend in Paris.
“I done seen KD. On God, I done seen KD,” he remarked on his livestream.
Moreover, in the men’s basketball final, the USA defeated the hosts France 98-87, to win their 17th gold in Olympic history. Steph Curry was the star of the show for the Americans at the Accor Arena in Paris, scoring a team-high 24 points, including four three-pointers in the last few minutes of a close contest.
