The American basketball legend, LeBron James, got a new tattoo of the Olympic rings to commemorate the gold medal win with Team USA at the Paris 2024 earlier this summer. It was in the final of the Paris Olympics, where the USA defeated France 98-87, to clinch their 17th Olympic gold in men’s basketball after a splendid performance from LeBron James, which saw him get 14 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and two steals, playing the support role to Steph Curry.
Notably, LeBron James was the best player of the Paris Olympics 2024 in the men’s basketball competition as he turned back the close to deliver consistent performances right throughout despite being the oldest player on the team. He went on to average 14.6 points, 8.5 assists, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals for Team USA in the tournament, becoming the Olympic MVP, and getting named in the All-Star team of five players alongside Steph Curry, his American teammate.
LeBron James is the second most successful men's basketball player for Team USA at Olympics
In a viral video on the social media platform X, which was shared by ClutchPoints, LeBron James could be seen getting inked with the Olympic rings on his left arm. Later on, the King was showing off his tattoo to his fans as the gold medal win at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 meant a lot to him, which was his third overall, and the fourth medal in total.
After being chosen to be one of the flag-bearers of the USA at the opening ceremony at the recently concluded Olympics, LeBron James went on to live up to the expectations of the fans and the entire American contingent in Paris. He is currently tied in second place in the all-time list of the most successful men’s basketball players for Team USA at the Olympics alongside Carmelo Anthony, with only Kevin Durant ahead of him.
