Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James criticized his team’s poor performance in the ongoing season. In their last clash, the Lakers displayed their worst defensive performances and fell to the Hawks 138-122. The Purple and Yellow team icon James ended the game with 20 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists, but despite the effort failed to get the team past the finish line. After the Lakers’ recorded their second consecutive loss, James presented his brutally honest take on the team’s inconsistency in the ongoing season.

After the Lakers’ continuous failed attempts to improve performance, James admitted that the team is average and inconsistent. In a video doing rounds on social media, he could be heard saying, “We could on any given night beat any team in the NBA. And then on any given night, we could get our ass kicked by any team in the NBA. What's our record? One game under .500? 24-25? That's who we are.”

LeBron James shares cryptic tweet after loss to Hawks
The 39-year-old shared a cryptic tweet hours after the Lakers recorded another humiliating loss of the season. James posted a sandclock emoticon on his X (formerly Twitter) timeline, leaving his fans to their speculations.

While some fans speculated that James is considering splitting up with the Lakers, others said that the tweet indicates that Darvin Ham’s tenure is about to get over as the Lakers’ coach. However, the star has yet to confirm the intention behind his cryptic tweet.
Coming back to the clash, the game against the Hawks saw Anthony Davis missing the night. D’Angelo Russell, who is currently in the news for a potential trade with Hawks' Dejounte Murray struggled throughout the night and scored nine points on 3-11 shooting. On the other hand, Hawks’ Trae Young scored 26 points and made 13 assists while Dejounte Murray scored 24 points with 11-19 shooting, out of which 10 came in the fourth quarter, along with nine assists.
