Lionel Messi scored an outrageous goal in his latest Inter Miami FC match against Atlanta United in the Major League Soccer (MLS). The 37-year old Argentine winger won the ball after applying pressure near the opposition penalty box and charged towards goal. He performed a body feint to send the approaching center-back to the ground and then produced a beautiful chip to evade bursting goalkeeper Brad Guzan and put the ball into the back of the net. The entire stadium erupted after seeing this beautiful goal by Lionel Messi as he scored in the 20th minute to bring his team to level terms.
Inter Miami FC were a goal down in the first 11 minutes of the match itself after Emmanuel Latte Lath scored a headed goal for Atlanta United. Lionel Messi equalized for Inter Miami with a beautiful sequence of play and Fafa Picault scored a late 89th minute winner to give Inter Miami their third win of the new season. This win also takes Inter Miami to the top of the Eastern Conference table in the MLS.

Inter Miami having their best ever start to the season
With four matches played till date, the current campaign is Inter Miami’s best ever start in club history; winning three matches and getting one draw. They will be playing Philadelphia, who are currently second in the league table after the international break. The starman Lionel Messi has also hit the ground running by scoring his fourth goal of the season. With this, he has already taken his record tally at the American club to 38 goals and 20 assists in 44 matches.
Next up, Messi will feature with the Argentina national team, as they will take on Uruguay and Brazil in the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers round.
