After winning their previous three fixtures, Lebron James-led Los Angeles Lakers took on Luka Doncic's Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night in the 2023-24 NBA regular season. During the game at the Crypto.com Arena, the 24-year-old Slovenian raised eyebrows with his quick-witted play on the court that made one of the greatest NBA players of all time, LeBron look silly.
The Mavericks ended their two-game losing streak and also snapped the Lakers' three-game winning streak. In the second quarter, Luka Doncic displayed his wizardly moves which involved the all-time highest scorer in the NBA, LeBron James.
With less than nine minutes remaining in the second quarter, the Lakers' defense was in rotation, and seemed tough to find a gap. However, the Mavericks guard pulled off a sensational move as he dimed through LeBron's leg to assist Josh Green in the corner. The home crowd showed their excitement towards the dime while the 23-year-old Green splashed a three-pointer to extend the Mavericks' lead to 11 points against the Lakers.

Talking about the game, the Lakers nearly pulled off a sensational comeback after trailing to 20 points at the end of the third quarter to eventually lose the game 101-104. LeBron James registered a team-high 26 points with nine rebounds and seven assists followed by Austin Reaves' 17/6/6 stats.
Luka Doncic recorded a game-high 30 points with 11 rebounds and eight assists while he was backed by Kyrie Irving, who scored 28 points.
