P aris Olympics 2024 double medallist Manu Bhaker, currently enjoying her success in the recently-concluded quadrennial tournament was seen grooving to the famous Bollywood number, Kala Chashma. Bhaker was present at a felicitation ceremony in Chennai, where she was seen dancing on the beats of the Bollywood song. She shared the stage with some school girls during the ceremony. 

Bhaker scripted stage by becoming the first athlete from independent India to win two individual medals in the same edition of the Olympics. The Haryana-born won bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event and the 10m air pistol mixed team event along with Sarabjot Singh. Not only this, but Bhaker was on the verge of becoming a triple medallist but finished fourth in her pet event, 25m women’s pistol and missed another medal by a whisker. 

Recently, during one of the felicitation ceremonies held in Chennai, the shooter was seen dancing to the tunes of ‘Kaala Chashma’ along with some school kids. Talking about the ceremony, it began with Manu being presented with a special memento, and was draped in a traditional garland. 

Following the ceremony, the Velammal Academy in Chennai distributed scholarship awards worth an impressive INR 2.07 crore to deserving school students. Not only this, but during the ceremony, Bhaker was seen launching the ‘Velammals vision for Olympic medal 2032’.
