The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 match between Australia and South Africa witnessed a controversial decision as Aussie batter Marcus Stoinis was deemed caught out after an incredible Quinton de Kock catch. Chasing a massive total, the five-time champions were in huge trouble after being reduced to 65-5 in the 17th over.
The collapse found another victim as Stoinis tried fending away Marcus Stoinis down the leg side. But as the ball kissed Stoinis' gloves, Quinton de Kock completed a great catch. The decision was reviewed and the decision was out as the third umpire concluded that the Aussie all-rounder was out as his hand was touching the bat.
