This moment led to the Super Bowl LVII rematch going the way of the Eagles, who managed to get the better of the Chiefs by 21-17 at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on November 20.
The Kansas City Chiefs were in the lead for most of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, heading into the halftime break at 17-7. But the second half belonged completely to the Eagles, who scored 14 unanswered points to get ahead by 21-17 against the Chiefs with minutes remaining in the pulsating contest.
With just 1:50 minutes to play, Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Chiefs, aired out a massive deep ball from the 49-yard line to his teammate Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The wide receiver beat his man to get to the ball, but instead of catching it, he saw it bounce off his chest before both hit the floor at the same time.

After the match, the 29-year-old Chiefs wide receiver was seemingly irate while walking out in the tunnel after his crucial late-game drop.

It led to the Philadelphia Eagles taking over the ball before they closed out the game by lining up in the victory formation while kneeling down in succession. Notably, this was the first loss for the Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid against his former team, while at the same time, it was also Jason Kelce’s first win against his brother Travis Kelce.
