The current unified welterweight champion Errol Spence and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson shared a laugh recently at the expense of former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook. Tyson’s hilariously bad impression of Brook had the two men in stitches as he copied Brook’s manner of speech and use of British slang. Spence then shared an anecdote about fighting Brook in his hometown.

Before the Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence fight, Spence talked to Tyson about a variety of topics, including Brook’s trash talk. Errol told Mike that Brook had trash-talked him before the pair fought in England for the welterweight title. Tyson was surprised that Brook was trash-talking and said that he thought Brook was a more reserved personality. Spence explained that he was doing it because he was in his hometown, and shared an anecdote about the stadium of nearly 30 thousand fans all leaving after he knocked out Brook.

Tyson also made fun of the way Brook would banter, saying “Hey, how you doing mate? Hey you f***ing wanker, come on you son of a w***.” This made the two men laugh.

Errol Spence underdog going into Crawford fight

Mike Tyson thinks that Errol Spence is the undertow and that Crawford is the clear favorite to win the fight, going so far as to say that Crawford can’t get into trouble against Spence.

For his part, Spence said he is willing to win by any means necessary to his fans. He also added that he is excited about the opportunity to fight Crawford. The massive fight will be career-defining for Spence, and he is training to the best of his ability and following a strict nutrition plan to ensure his body is in peak condition going in.

Mike told Errol that he shouldn’t be too concerned with modeling certain poses or showing off styles, but should try to come out fast and hard. Spence thinks that Crawford is one of these fighters, and likes to get aggressive from the get-go rather than showing perfect form. While Tyson doesn’t think that Spence can do significant damage to Crawford, he felt that his advice would help him cause problems against other boxers.  The fight is set to take place on the 29th of July at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
