Australia are hosting Pakistan in the third and final Test of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Shan Masood-led side posted 199/6 at Tea on Day 1 of the ongoing Test.

The Pakistan skipper only added 35 runs on the scoreboard before being dismissed by Aussie all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, early in the game. But his wicket did not come easy as the skipper was handed a life. The 34-year-old was caught in the 26th over but with Marsh crossing the line while bowling, the umpire called it a no-ball, giving a life to the skipper.

While Pakistan lost the first two matches of the Test series, by a margin of 360 and 79 runs respectively, they will aim to get back and try register a consolation win in the three-match Test series.
