While the team works to come back in the tournament, former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has urged the International Cricket Council (ICC) for a change in order to call for some transparency. Speaking on a Pakistani news channel, Hafeez requested the organising body to use spider cameras for toss results.

Recalling an incident from 2012, Hafeez quoted, “I was the captain of Pakistan; it was a World Cup match and the tournament director of the ICC. I made a request to him and gave him a suggestion that the ICC should have spider cameras to record the results and make them public by zooming on the coin when it drops for more clarity.”
