The defending champions India are placed in Group A of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup alongside Bangladesh, Ireland, and the United States of America. They are scheduled to begin their campaign against Bangladesh on Saturday, January 20, at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein.

ICC, in collaboration with Cricket World Cup, posted a short video on their official Instagram account of Musheer Khan mimicking the pull stroke down the fine leg region from Suryakumar Yadav, the flick of the wrist towards the square leg region from KL Rahul, and the slog towards deep midwicket region from Hardik Pandya. With every stroke replicated by the youngster, the rest of his teammates were having a lot of fun at his expense.

Notably, Musheer Khan has already played three first-class games for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy as a teenager. Although he has scored just 96 runs at an average of 19.20 in five innings with a high score of 42, the youngster has all the tools to become one of the most formidable batters, not just in domestic cricket but also at the highest level.

Moreover, the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup is set to commence on Friday, January 19, with two simultaneous clashes between Ireland and the USA, while the hosts South Africa will take on the West Indies.
