The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League is going on in full swing, and the famous T20 cricket league is popular among the masses as it serves the cricket fans with talent, cricket and non-stop entertainment. Apart from common people, the connection between the entertainment industry also and cricket doesn’t need any introduction. While two Bollywood superstars, Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta own franchises in the Indian Premier League, several other actors have time and again expressed their love for the sport. Rashmika Mandanna is one name, who performed at the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League 2023. Mandanna, who is often referred to as the ‘National Crush’ is also a fan of the sport, and recently talked about her favourite cricketer.
In her recent interaction with a channel, Rashmika Mandanna revealed her favourite cricketer, and it not MS Dhoni or Rohit Sharma. It is Virat Kohli whom this Indian actress likes the most. Not only this, her favourite IPL team is Royal Challengers Bangalore as she is also from Bengaluru, and whole-heartedly follows the Faf du Plessis-led squad. In a video, the Pushpa actress can be seen saying, “I am from Bangalore, I am from Karnataka, and we have ‘Ee Sala Cup Namde’ slogan going on, so I think that just carried on. I hope this time in IPL I can go and see RCB play."

Rashmika Mandanna was one of the performers at the IPL 2023 opening ceremony along with Tamannah Bhatia and Arijit Singh, where she enthralled the crowd with her performance. Speaking of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Faf-led team is coming off victorious against the Lucknow Super Giants in a heated match on May 1, Monday. They will now take the field against Delhi Capitals on May 6, at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
