After getting bowled out for 263, the Aussies came back in the game on the back of Nathan Lyon’s spin attack on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test. KL Rahul escaped his wicket twice in the opening session after India started the day at 21/0 but were reduced to 66/4 in the 26th over of the innings.

Although three of Lyon’s wickets came as bowled and LBWs, one came with the brilliant fielding effort from Peter Handscomb. The 31-year-old made a brilliant effort as he took a stunning reflex catch at short leg to dismiss Shreyas Iyer.

In the 26th over , Iyer flicked from the bat off the back foot, but it hit Peter Handscomb who was stationed at shot leg. However, Handscomb failed to catch it as it rolled down on to his right leg, but with great effort and a presence of mind, Handscomb completed it with his sensational reflexes.

Talking about the match, Australia opted to bat first after winning the toss on Day 1 of the second Test. However, disciplined bowling from the Indian bowlers helped them bundle out the visitors for 263. India are currently trailing by 175 runs with the scoreboard reading 88/4 at Lunch on Day 2.
