During the second ODI of the three-match series between India women and Australia women, Phoebe Litchfield took a screamer at covers to dismiss Jemimah Rodrigues for a well-made 44 off 55. At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Team India is currently in pursuit of a 259-run target to level the series at 1-1 with one match remaining.

The first ball of the 34th over in the Indian innings from Georgia Wareham was tossed up on the off stump with some dip on it. Jemimah Rodrigues, who was eyeing the lofted inside-out shot over the head of the cover fielder, couldn’t execute it well, finding Phoebe Litchfield, who dived full stretch to her right to complete an impressive catch.

With that, the third wicket partnership of 88 runs between Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues was broken, and Australia were back in the contest. Notably, the Australians have dropped three catches in the field up to this stage of the Indian innings, while their opposite counterparts had dropped seven catches in total in their innings earlier.
As of this writing, India is 195/4 in 40 overs, needing 64 more runs to win the second ODI at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to make it 1-1. Richa Ghosh is 78 off 104 with 10 fours, while Deepti Sharma joined her in the middle, registering four runs on the board in seven deliveries herself.
