Real Madrid came off victorious against Real Sociedad the Copa Del Rey semi-final in what was an extremely thrilling encounter. The second leg ended with a scoreline of 4-4 after 120 minutes of breath-taking action, but Real Madrid won the tie with an aggregate scoreline of 5-4. There was end to end action with both the teams scoring plenty of goals. However, Real Madrid got the last laugh with center-back Antonio Rudiger scoring the winning goal in the tie in the 115th minute of the game. Amongst all the supporters present at the Santiago Bernabeu, the reaction of tennis star Rafael Nadal, who was also present at the venue seems to be doing the rounds on the internet.
Nadal jumped off his seat after Antonio Rudiger scored a late winner for Los Blancos. His facial expressions went from tensed to extremely pumped by the goal and celebration. And his reaction represents all the Madrid fans present in the stadium as at one point, the game seemed to be slipping away from Madrid hand’s when they were 3-1 down in the 80th minute. However late heroics from Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni ensured that Madrid became level on aggregate and forced the game into extra-time.

Madrid’s youngsters shine in hard-fought cup victory
One of the best performers for Madrid in yesterday’s game was young Brazilian striker Endrick. He opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the 30th minute with an exquisite chipped goal against Alex Remiro. He finally made way for Mbappe in the 66th minute after being substituted but his goal in yesterday’s game takes his this season Copa Del Rey tally to five goals; the highest for any Madrid player since Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2012-13 season.
Fans were delighted to see wonderful performances from young players who are generally not given a lot of opportunities by coach Carlo Ancelotti. One of these names also included Turkish midfielder Arda Guler as he came on late in the match and made an impactful cameo by providing the assist for Rudiger’s winner.
