Former India cricketer and head coach Rahul Dravid was seen in a different avatar recently. Dravid, who resides in Bengaluru, was seen getting into an argument when an auto driver hit his car in his hometown. Usually known for his calm and composed demeanour both on and off the cricket field, Dravid was seen engaging in a serious conversation after the minor collision on Cunningham Road near the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

In the video making waves on social media, Dravid could be seen visibly annoyed after his car met an accident with an auto. The 52-year-old was also seen venting out his frustration on the goods carrying auto driver, although, no major damage or injury was reported during the accident.

Fans recall ‘Indiranagar ka Gunda’ advertisement after video of accident surfaces

Seeing the legendary cricketer bring in his angry avatar in front, fans recalled his famous advertisement which portrayed him as an angry young man. The advertisement which came out in 2021, Dravid was seen getting involved in a heated argument with people on the road while being stuck in a traffic jam as he called himself ‘Indiranagar ka gunda’.

Seeing his hilarious take in the advertisement, fans flooded social media with memes. While some claimed him as “Indiranagar ka gunda’, a few others were surprise to see the Indian great get angry. Check out how fans reacted to this:

Speaking of Dravid, the former India cricketer ended his tenure as head coach of the Indian cricket team in June 2024. Under his mentorship, the Rohit Sharma-led side won the T20 World Cup in Barbados, ending the ICC title drought of 11 years by beating South Africa in the summit clash. While his stint with the Indian team ended then, he joined Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals as head coach and will be seen in the dugout with the tournament set to commence on March 21.
