Ravi Shastri is a well-known sports fan and is often seen at tennis and football matches apart from the cricket ground. This time though, the venue was a little different, as the commentator is currently in Belgium for the Belgian Grand Prix Formula 1 race. In order to hype up the F1 race, Shastri was seen at the track providing some commentary in his trademark way for his admirers on social media.

In the video posted before the race on Sunday, Ravi Shastri spoke in his typical commentary style and said, “It's going to be fast, it's going to be furious and they are going to go like hell, let me assure you that. "Up to now, it's a bulldozer on the track. Red Bull has been bulldozing, but watch out for this race. Max has been brilliant, watch out for Charles, Oscar.”

"This place is going to be revved up for the next two hours. And if there is an upset today, it's going to be revved up even more. All set, ready to go," Shastri added further.

The former Indian coach has been at the venue for the past couple of days and also attended the practice as well as the qualifying race of the Grand Prix. He also posted a video on his social media handle of the Ferrari F1 team, as they changed the tires of the car rapidly at the pitstop.

Shastri returned to the commentary box after 2021, following the conclusion of his time as head coach of the Indian team. Shastri had previously been seen earlier this month at Wimbledon 2023 in London, where he had been seen watching a number of matches, including the Centre Court final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Shastri is taking advantage of his current break from his professional obligations as a pundit to watch some tennis and Formula One.
