After dominating the game against arch-rival Pakistan on Sunday, Team India will be eyeing to qualify for the knock-out stage when they take on Hong Kong at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday. Hardik Pandya's all-round performance and Ravindra Jadeja's matured knock with the bat helped Team India to notch thrilling five-wicket win over Pakistan on Sunday.
While Team India performed extremely well in the first game of the Asia Cup 2022, Team India's decision to pick Dinesh Karthik over regular wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant hogged lot of limelight as many expressed their shock over the decision. While the reason behind the decision is unknown, Pant is likely to get a chance against Hong Kong.
On the eve of India vs Hong Kong clash, India's top-notch all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja came up with a quirky reply when journalist asked him about the reason behind picking Karthik over Pant. "I absolutely don't know this. This is a question out of my book," said Jadeja.

Speaking of Ravindra Jadeja, the all-rounder played a brilliant knock of 35-runs off 29 deliveries and stitched crucial partnership with Hardik Pandya in the second innings. Pandya was awarded Player of the Match for his all-round performance in the game as he picked three-wickets followed by 33 off 17 deliveries.
"Definitely we are going to play with a positive mindset and we are not going to take them (Hong Kong) lightly. We are aware of the fact that in T20 international any team can cause massive upset on any given day," added Jadeja.
