England midfielder Jude Bellingham made the headlines during Real Madrid's win against Barcelona in La Liga 2023-24 on Sunday as the 20-year-old became the first Real player to score in his first two La Liga El Clasico's since Dutch legend Rudd van Nistelrooy in 2007. Bellingham scored a late winner in the stoppage time and the crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu went berserk and raised roaring chants of the England star's name.
After scoring a brace against Barcelona in their previous fixture this season at Estadio Olímpico Lluis Companys in October, Bellingham scored a stoppage-time winner to seal the El Clasico and helped Real Madrid to consolidate their position at the top of the La Liga standings.
Barcelona took an early lead in the sixth minute as Andreas Christensen scored the opener, however, Vinicius Jr. converted a penalty to level the game in the 18th minute. After a 1-1 first half, Fermin Lopez scored in the 69th minute to help Barcelona take the lead, however, Lucas Vazquez equalised after just four minutes.
After ending the 90 minutes of regulation time at a 2-2 score, Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham smashed into the roof of the net in the first minute of the stoppage time and helped Los Blancos register a late win against arch-rivals Barcelona.
Bellingham brought his signature celebration after scoring the goal as he moved towards the crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu and opened his arms. The entire stadium could be heard chanting the English midfielder's name as a video has gone viral on social media.
