Former West Indies international, Ricardo Powell, pulled off a spectacular one-handed catch to dismiss Gurkeerat Singh in Legends League Cricket 2023. Playing for the India Capitals, Powell was a live-wire in the field against the Urbanrisers Hyderabad, who posted a massive 189 batting first.

Hyderabad had a slow start after losing the likes of Dwayne Smith and Martin Guptill cheaply. But captain Suresh Raina with Gurkeerat Singh rebuilt the innings with a 92-run stand. Though Raina got out at 46 in 27 balls, Singh continued scoring from one end as he neared an incredible ton.

Facing veteran Indian pacer Munaf Patel, Singh attempted a slog towards the leg side as he tried to increase the scoring rate. But as Ricardo Powell, spotted the ball, he made a quick run towards his right and threw in a full-length dive to complete an athletic one-handed diving catch.
After Gurkeerat Singh's wicket, Peter Trego finished off the Urbanisers' innings with a crucial 20-ball 36 cameo at a score of 189. For the India Capitals, Isuru Udana was the pick of the bowlers with a spell of 2-28 in four overs.
