Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was spotted at Team India's practice session ahead of the third T20I against Afghanistan in Bengaluru. The Delhi native has been recovering at the National Cricket Academy in Karnataka's capital since his horrific car accident on December 31 2022. Since then Pant has undergone three successful reconstructive surgeries on his ligaments.

Coming back to Bengaluru, Pant was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts. During the training session at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Pant was spotted joking around with India's number three Virat Kohli. The 26-year-old had a chat with players like Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube, before conversing with Rohit Sharma for a bit.

Before this series, Rishab Pant was in Dubai with the Delhi Capitals team for the IPL 2024 auction in late December 2023. The Delhi-based franchise had a disappointing 2023 IPL season with a ninth-place finish and needed some major reinforcements for the 2024 season. Indian uncapped star Kumar Kushagra and Australian speedster Jhye Richardson were Delhi's top picks in the auction.
