On day four of the second Test match at the Green Park in Kanpur, when Indian captain Rohit Sharma took a sensational one-handed catch of Litton Das in Bangladesh’s first innings, Rishabh Pant pulled his ear as his teammates swarmed him to celebrate the incredible moment. The stunning grab from Rohit Sharma had Litton Das in disbelief while the Indian captain himself was left dumbfounded at his own effort in the field.
The sensational catch from Rohit Sharma happened in the 50th over of the Bangladesh first innings when Mohammed Siraj bowled a length delivery, on which Litton Das stepped down the track, smashing it with the horizontal bat towards the off side. But he was not able to clear the infield as the Indian captain jumped up at the perfect time, to grab hold of the ball with his right-hand at the mid-off region, to send Litton Das back into the pavilion for 13 off 30.

But, the moment which has gone viral on the social media platform X was the ear pull from Rishabh Pant on Rohit Sharma after the latter had managed to take a one-handed stunner in the field.

Notably, Bangladesh were eventually bundled out in their first innings for 233 runs in 74.2 overs after all the five Indian bowlers picked up at least one wicket, while Mominul Haque scored an unbeaten hundred. In response, India went hell for leather in their first innings, declaring their first innings on 285/9 in just 34.4 overs after quick-fire fifties from Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul along with decent contributions from Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill.
