After winning the Test series 1-0 against West Indies, the Asian Giants continued their winning streak and took down the hosts in the first of the three ODIs. The Men in Blue took down the rivals in a comfortable five-wicket win at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first, and in return, the Caribbean posted 113 runs in 23 runs before getting all out. Despite a smooth day in the West Indies, the Indian skipper was seen losing his cool on fellow teammates during the first ODI.

Rohit Sharma lost his temper at Shardul Thakur and was seen abusing him for misfielding during the game. The incident took place in the 19th over, which was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. WI skipper Shai Hope was on the crease and during one of the deliveries when it looked like the hosts would manage to score only two runs, the hosts ended up getting three.

Thakur had failed to chase the ball efficiently, leaving the India captain annoyed as he cursed Thakur for his lazy fielding. The video posted by Foax Cricket News has gone viral on social media, garnering attention from Indian fans in huge numbers.

Speaking of Indian bowlers, five of the six bowlers managed to get wickets during the game. Thakur put up a good show with the ball as he took one wicket in three overs, as he dismissed WI opener Brandon King on 17 runs during the eighth over. However, Thakur didn’t make the most of his opportunity with the bat and ended up scoring only one run from four balls. Ishan Kishan opened India’s innings and scored 52 runs off 46 balls, combined with seven boundaries and a maximum.
