The Indian captain Rohit Sharma and star batter Suryakumar Yadav showed off their dance moves as Team Ind ia reached New Delhi after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies. The Men in Blue defeated South Africa in the grand final by seven runs to end their 13-year World Cup drought on June 29 in Bridgetown, Barbados.
But since then the Indian team has been stuck in the Caribbean due to a Category-4 Hurricane Beryl in the region. But then on July 3, Team India were flown out of Bridgetown in the Air India special charter flight AIC24WC - Air India Champions 24 World Cup.

The flight took off from Barbados around 4:50 a.m. local time and arrived in Delhi at 6 a.m. (IST) on July 4 after a 16-hour non-stop journey. After the Men in Blue landed in New Delhi they went to ITC Maurya to get ready for their meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence. At the hotel, the team was welcomed by a band where Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav started the party and showed off their dance moves.

After meeting the Prime Minister, the Indian team will travel to Mumbai for a grand open-bus parade which will conclude at the Wankhede Stadium. The Indian captain Rohit Sharma invited all fans and requested them to join the trophy celebrations in his hometown.
The Hitman, on X, posted, "We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let’s celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards. It’s coming home."
