The Rohit Sharma-led Team India played Australia at the ODI World Cup 2023 Final on Sunday, 19th November in Ahmedabad. While it was a hard pill to swallow for the Men in Blue as they were handed the defeat by six wickets despite coming into the final on the back of ten wins in a row.
After a massive six-wicket thumping in the grand finale, there were some hard scenes both on and off the field. While skipper Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Siraj were left in tears, former skipper Virat Kohli also hid his face with his cap and was also seen sharing emotions with wife Anushka Sharma.
But as the players now head back home after 45-day long tournament, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma and ex-captain Virat Kohli arrived in Mumbai on Monday, 20th November. In the videos going viral, while the skipper carried his daughter Samaira towards his car, Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma headed towards their car.

Virat Kohli, who clinched the Player of the Tournament, scored 765 runs across 11 innings, most ever scored by an individual batter at the men’s CWC. He surpassed the previous record set by Sachin Tendulkar, who hit 673 in the 2003 edition of the tournament.
