India registered a comfortable win in the second Test to level the series 1-1. They clinched the second Test with a seven-wicket win, with a brilliant bowling performance from the Indian bowlers. Chasing a total of 79 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal came all guns blazing but a steady knock from skipper Rohit Sharma helped the side seal the victory.
However, in the 36th over of the Protean inning, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma was seen using some cuss words as he thought of taking a review. As South Africa struggled at 174/9, Mohammed Siraj’s delivery bounced off Nandre Burger’s pads to Rohit Sharma at forward short leg. A s Rohit was in doubt to take a review, he was heard using some abusive words, a video of which is going viral.

While the hosts won the first Test by an inning and 32 runs, the Men in Blue clinched the second Test. Notably, with this win, Rohit Sharma became the third captain to draw the series after Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni. Moreover, Sharma became the first captain to win a Test match in Cape Town. The second Test also became the shortest Test match by balls bowled (624).
