The Men in Blue, who remained unbeaten in the entire T20 World Cup 2024, finally went on to win the title and end the 11-year-long wait for this moment to come real.
After winning the toss earlier in the match, India decided to bat first. On the back of Virat Kohli’s 76-run knock, India posted 176 runs along with Axar Patel’s crucial 47. All came down to the Indian bowling attack, who pulled off a thrilling win, registering a convincing seven-run win.
