Ahead of Sachin Tendulkar’s 50th Birthday, the Tendulkar family including Sachin’s wife Anjali Tendulkar and daughter Sara Tendulkar arrived in Goa for a celebration. As the God of Cricket celebrates his 50th birthday, tributes have flown from all around the world commemorating this milestone.
But Sachin and his family travelled to Goa, the place where the Master Blaster’s son Arjun Tendulkar plays, will have a birthday bash. In a video shared by celebrity paparazzi, Manav Manglani, the Tendulkars are seen arriving at the Goa airport and are greeted by countless fans and supporters.

Among the many commemorative gestures, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is set to install a life-size statue of Sachin Tendulkar at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This statue will be a tribute to the Little Master’s contribution to Indian and Mumbai cricket. The statue will be likely unveiled during the 50-over World Cup in India, later in 2023.
Addressing this statue, Anmol Kale, the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, spoke about how this will be a small token of appreciation for Tendulkar and his contribution to cricket over his sparkling career.
Anmol Kale said, “It will be the first statue in Wankhede Stadium, we will decide where it will be placed. He (Tendulkar) is a Bharat Ratna and everyone knows what he has done for cricket. As he turns 50, it will be a small token of appreciation from the MCA. I spoke to him three weeks ago and his consent was received,” Kale further added.
