Indian cricketing legend and World Cup winner, Sachin Tendulkar recently was spotted at Wimbledon 2024. The former Indian cricketer received a rousing reception in the capacity crowd at Centre Court during Wimbledon 2024 on Saturday, July 6.
The master blaster graced the round three match played between Alexander Zverev and Cameron Norrie at the Centre Court on Saturday afternoon. Seeing the great of the game take his seat in the Royal Box along with wife Anjali, the crowd went berserk when the presenter announced her name and highlighted the achievements of the legend. In return, Sachin acknowledged his presence but waving at the full crowd.
“We are also joined by legend of the game from India, another World Cup winner and the all-time run-scorer in cricket history. Please welcome Sachin Tendulkar,” the announcer called out.

Apart from Sachin, the afternoon was also graced by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, tennis great Roger Federer, along with several other sports personalities. Moreover, it seemed to be a cricketer’s day out at the Centre Court in Wimbledon 2024 as Sachin was joined by England’s Test and white-ball captains Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler. Former England captain Joe Root was also in attendance in the Royal Box during the match.
