The visitors invited the hosts to bat first at their home turf, putting 338/6 in the 50-overs. But the sight which caught everyone’s attention was a brilliant catch by Sean Abbott near the boundary ropes. This incident took place on the fourth delivery of the 47th over. Jansen, who was on strike, carved off the outside half of his bat to smash the ball, but in a surprise to all, Abbott, who was stationed at sweeper cover went all through to complete a stunner.
The bowling all-rounder flung himself to his left and stuck his left mitt out to complete an absolute beauty of a catch. Video of the same is now doing rounds on social media.
