The third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 saw two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders winning the thrilling match-up against Pat Cummins-led SunRisers Hyderabad by four runs as Harshit Rana pulled off a sensational final over. During the match that took place at the iconic Eden Gardens, Bollywood superstar and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan found himself in another controversy as he was spotted smoking in the stands.
The match between KKR and SRH was full of action as Kolkata all-rounder Andre Russell smashed three boundaries and seven maximums in his unbeaten 64-run knock in just 25 balls while Hyderabad's Heinrich Klaasen also played a remarkable knock of 63 runs off 29 balls. However, Harshit Rana's last-over heroics helped KKR beat SRH by four runs.
In the third match of the IPL 2024, Pat Cummins won the toss and invited KKR to bat first. During the first innings, the cameraman turned the angle towards the stands and captured Shah Rukh Khan smoking. For the unversed, smoking is banned in the stadium, but SRK was still spotted smoking in the stands.
