Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis had to leave the game in the fourth quarter of Game 5 against Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at the Chase Center and the defending champions registered a 121-106 victory to force the Game 6 in LA. In the post-game show 'Inside the NBA,' former players turned pundits, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley had a good laugh over Anthony Davis leaving the game in a wheelchair.

In Wednesday's game, Davis was hit in the head by an inadvertent forearm shot from Kevon Looney with around seven minutes left in the fourth quarter.  He spent a few minutes sitting on the bench and then left mid-game to the locker room for possible concussion treatment.

According to TNT’s Chris B. Haynes, Davis had to be escorted to the locker room in a wheelchair due to the fact that he was dizzy from his head injury.  After the game, Shaq and Barkley joked about Davis' injury. They implied that Anthony Davis was 'made of paper' and burst out laughing and Barkley later mimicked Davis. They have faced backlash over this on the internet.

However, the Lakers star avoided any concussion and was later spotted leaving the arena after Game 5.  LA Lakers coach later revealed that Davis seems to be doing much better than before when he had to be in a wheelchair due to extreme dizziness. The Lakers star will be evaluated in a couple of days and since it's a head injury it could come under the NBA  concussion protocol.

Back to the game, Golden State Warriors won game five 121-106 to force a game six. Stephen Curry scored a game-high 27 points while Draymond Green chipped in with 20 points to guide the Warriors to a win. They will face each other in Game 6 at the Crypto.com Arena on Saturday.
