On Sunday, September 8, Shubman Gill, the Indian cricket player, had a video going viral on social media platform X, wherein he was celebrating his 25th birthday in style with his friends, enjoying a bit of karaoke at a party organised for him. A few pictures of Indian international Shubman Gill alongside his friends on his birthday also did the rounds on X, in which he was also seen posing behind a massive custom-themed cake.

Notably, in the last day or so, Shubman Gill, who has become quite a big name in Indian cricket in the last couple of years, has been trending on social media platform X, with the fans using “#HappyBirthdayGill” to wish him on his 25th birthday. Shubman Gill has grown in stature in recent times, fulfilling the responsibility to lead India in the recently concluded T20I series vs Zimbabwe in July, which they won 4-1(5) in away conditions.

According to the report from Cricket.one, Khushpreet Singh Aulakh, the close friend of Shubman Gill, shared the pictures from the birthday party of the Indian cricketer on Instagram stories. Apart from posing with his friends, Shubman Gill also stood behind a custom-themed cake boasting his famed hundred celebration, the number “25,” along with the text “Happy Birthday Shubman” written on it.

In his recent chat with JioCinema ahead of the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home, Shubman Gill was quite aware of the challenge posed by their subcontinental neighbours. He was quoted as saying, as per IANS, “I don't think you can underestimate any international side. The kind of cricket Bangladesh has played in the last couple of months, especially in Pakistan, has been impressive. Their fast bowlers and the way their middle-order batters have absorbed pressure shouldn't be disregarded. So, I believe it will be an interesting and intriguing contest.”
