We have frequently seen fans and protestors invading cricket games, but on rare occasions, animals have also invaded the games. One such incident took place in the Lanka Premier League game when a snake made it to the game between Kandy Falcons vs Jaffna Kings. The incident took place in the 17th over of Jaffna's innings.
The match had many mouth-watering action-oriented games but the occurrence of the snake caught everyone’s attention. During that time, Jaffna batters Shoaib Malik and Thisara Perera had taken up the pitch. The team needed 39 off 16 runs when a snake was spotted at the boundary line.

The video of the incident has gone viral all over social media. Notably, it isn’t the first time that a snake has made an appearance in a Lanka Premier League game. Earlier, a snake halted the game between Galle Titans and Dambulla Aura in the tournament.
The Saturday match wasn’t interrupted due to the snake’s invasion. The game saw Kandy Falcons winning the game by eight wickets over the Kings by a margin of eight runs. On Falcon’s side, Mohammad Haris was the highest scorer as he pulled up 81 runs and led his side to victory.
