Social media banter is like a new gossip column that keeps fans interested and entertained. While there are several celebrities and influencers who often indulge in the same, when it comes to former cricketers, it is tough to beat the duo of Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer with regards to social media banter.
The two often take a dig at each other on social media regarding various topics concerning Indian cricket and England cricket. Quite recently, Jaffer had taken a dig at Vaughan after Australia thrashed England in the Ashes series.
The former India opener and first-class cricket legend Jaffer often leaves no stones unturned to defend Indian cricket and whenever there is a chance, gives it back to the ex-English skipper for comments or remarks against the Men in Blue.
However, on Sunday it was Vaughan's turn to have a bit of fun. Jaffer, who is playing for the India Maharajas side, in the inaugural season of the Legends League Cricket, a T20 tournament meant exclusively for retired cricketers, departed for a 2-ball duck against the World Giants. Pouncing on the opportunity, Vaughan shared a hilarious video of himself enjoying a drink while pointing to Jaffer's score and commenting: "Somethings don't change Wasim."
"Hope you are ok @WasimJaffer14," he captioned the video.

Meanwhile, the Legends League Cricket has seen some thrilling games so far. While India Legends beat the Asian Lions in the first match, the Asian side got the better of the World Giants. Later, the World Giants beat the India Legends which means all three teams have one win and a defeat against their name after three matches.
Despite Jaffer getting out for a duck, Maharajas eventually posted 209/3, thanks to Naman Ojha's century with the bat (149 from 69). Yet the Indian team succumbed to a defeat after a brilliant counter-attacking knock from Imran Tahir (53 runs from 19 balls) snatched a win from the Mohammad Kaif-led team.
