On Wednesday, July 10, the USA defeated Canada 86-72 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, scheduled to be held later this month. During their time in Las Vegas, the USA basketball team has been blasting the “Not Like Us” diss track from Kendrick Lamar, to mock his adversary Drake.
The road to the Paris Olympics started for the USA with a very good performance with Anthony Edwards scoring 13 points, Stephen Curry and RJ Barrett adding 12 points each. Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday finished up the night with 11 points, while Anthony Davis, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Dillon Brooks scored 10 points each.
After dissing Drake in the States in front of a record-breaking basketball crowd of 20,757 at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas, the USA basketball team are off to the UAE to play against Australia on July 15. They are also set to compete against Serbia, South Sudan, and Germany before the Paris 2024 kicks off on June 26.
Argentina mock Drake for betting on Canada after reaching Copa America final
The official X account of the Argentinian football team mocked Drake with a “Not like us” caption, a track from Kendrick Lamar after defeating Canada 2-0 in the semi-final of the Copa America 2024. Notably, the Canadian rapper had put $300,000 on Canada to defeat Argentina, which would have earned him $2.88 million, but it didn’t happen.
Argentina are set to face Colombia in the final of the Copa America 2024 after the latter got the better of Uruguay 1-0 in the other semi-final.
