Real Madrid's new star signing Jude Bellingham has continued his dominant run for the Spanish giants as the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder has scored six goals in six appearances for Los Blancos. The 20-year-old English star scored a late goal against Union Berlin in his UEFA Champions League debut for Real Madrid on Wednesday, which led former Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher to make some striking remarks.
Despite their 76 per cent ball possession and 32 total shot attempts, Real Madrid managed to score just one goal against Union Berlin that too in injury time. Bellingham stepped up yet again and delivered a clutch performance to score a decisive goal that helped his side clinch all three points in their opening UCL 2023-24 group stage fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Carlo Ancelotti's side dominated their German opponents in all sorts as they led Union Berlin in total shots, shots on target, total passes, and pass accuracy and Bellingham rewarded them with a late winner. While talking on CBS Sports, Carragher said, "I'm sure Jude wants to try the Premier League one day, and where better than 6 times Champions League winners Liverpool?" This forced his fellow pundit Henry to deliver a scathing response and said, "He is playing for a team that has won 14!"
