Indian skipper  R ohit Sharma has often been caught giving hilarious one-liners to his teammates on camera, be it in his stint with India or with his franchise Mumbai Indians. On Friday, before their reverse fixture against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Tilak Varma responded hilariously to Rohit Sharma's famous remark as the video has gone viral on social media.

The former Mumbai Indians skipper holds a special bond with the 21-year-old and the duo shares a special camaraderie in the dressing room. Despite being the senior member of the team, Rohit keeps the environment positive and soft as is evident in his on-field interactions with them. Rohit Sharma’s cheeky one-liners in the current Test series against England also became the talking points among the social media users.

The 37-year-old revisited the memories again as he hilariously teased Tilak Varma for arriving in Eden Gardens with his slippers on. He said, “Aye hero, kya kar raha hai bhai? Chappal mein ghum raha hai, kya garden mein aaya hai kya? (Aye Hero, what are you doing? Roaming in slippers, are you in a garden?)”

Giving a fitting cheeky reply to Rohit, Tilak said, “Hai na bhaiya, Eden Gardens. (This is big brother, Eden Gardens)” Rohit then repeated in an amused tone, “Kya? Eden Gardens?”

Notably, the Mumbai Indians have already been knocked out of the tournament by being on the losing side on eight of the 12 occasions thus far. With two matches remaining in the competition, the Hardik Pandya-led side would like to end the proceedings with consecutive victories and their head held high.
