Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce rejected retirement rumours and said that he is no way near to calling it quits on his career. Travis’ brother Joson Kelce has been contemplating retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles. However, Travis made it clear during Monday’s Super Bowl Opening Night that the Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers won’t be his last game.
Jason Kelce is still doubtful of continuing his career or thinking of putting an end to it. Jason’s retirement rumours have been lingering since it was first reported that he had told his teammates that he was thinking of drawing curtains after the Eagles lost to the Buccaneers. During the Super Bowl event, Travis said that Jason is yet to make the final decision. He said, “I think it’s still up in the air whether or not he’s going to continue to play football.”
I have so much love for this game: Travis Kelce
The 34-year-old player cleared the air about his retirement and said that he is not thinking of calling it quits. The City Chiefs star said, “I'm always thinking about what's next. That is always a question that you get when you are later in your career and start to fail. So, thanks for telling me I am not as good as once I was. I will tell you what it was.”

He added, "It's something you have got to think about. I think I come into this building, these arenas, I have worked my tail off with these guys. I have so much love for this game." While the NFL star didn’t specify when he will retire, certainly, the time is not near.
Kelce holds a notable postseason legacy, after having become the all-time leader in playoff receptions during their AFC Championship win over Baltimore Ravens. The Ohio native currently records 156 catches, after having surpassed Jerry Rice. Kelce is second-ranked in postseason receiving yardage and touchdown catches.
