Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool full-back, scored a stunning goal off a free kick at Anfield to kick-start their Premier League match against Fulham on a bright note. The 25-year-old made a sweet connection, which saw the ball go into the back of the net from the underside of the crossbar, with the goalkeeper Bernd Leno having no chance to stop it.

The goal from Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 20th minute gave Liverpool the early lead in front of their home fans, but it didn’t last for long. Just four minutes later, Harry Wilson put Fulham on level terms at 1-1, scoring against his former club, putting the ball into the back of the net through the legs of the goal-keeper Caoimhin Kelleher.

The lead for Liverpool was restored in the 39th minute when Alexis Mac Allister smacked the ball into the top corner of the net from distance, and it was his first goal for the club. But the shock and awe of the Liverpool fans at the strike from the Argentine player were short-lived as Kenny Tete made it a 2-2 scoreline for Fulham, deep into first-half stoppage time, silencing the faithful at Anfield.
