On Sunday, March 30, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are hosting Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH) in the tenth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. While the Capitals are coming off a close one-wicket win against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the Hyderabad-based franchise are coming off a loss against LSG at their own den.

For the unversed, SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to put the scoe first on the board. His decision did not make much of an impact as the SRH lost key wickets at crucial intervals. With Heinrich Klaasen coming in to join Aniket Verma in the middle, their 77-run stand was also broken with Vipraj Nigam producing a brilliant catch.

With Mohit Sharma comign to bowl his second over, he got the key wicket of Klaasen on the fifth delivery. Sharma bowled a fuller than a length with Klaasen opted to smash it over mid-on, but it just got off the leading edge. Vipraj Nigam almost over-ran but kept his eyes on the ball and holds on to it to dismiss the well set batter. However, the all-rounder was left in awe of his heroics, his teammates mobbed him to applaud that effort.

Mohit Sharma also brought up his trademark celebration to as he joined his hands to thank for this key wicket. At the end of 11 overs, SRH scorecard read 115/5 with Abhinav Manohar (1) and Aniket Verma (47 off 28) in the middle.
