Former India captain and T20 World Cup 2024 winner, Virat Kohli is spending some time with his family in London after calling down curtains to his T20I format. The 35-year-old, who left for London soon after Team India’s victory parade in Mumbai, has been spending some quality time off the field after requesting Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for an extended break.
In one of the latest videos going viral on social media, the batting stalwart, Virat Kohli and his wife and Bollywood celebrity, Anushka Sharma was spotted attending a kirtan of Krishna Das at the Union Chapel. Krishna Das is often known as the ‘Rock Star of Yoga’ and is known for his amalgamation of classical Indian chants with modern music.

Moreover, Anushka Sharma even took to Instagram to share snippets from the kirtan, tagging Krishna Das, who is originally named Jeffrey Kagel. Notably, this is not the first time that the couple has been spotted at Krishna Das kirtan. Earlier during Virat Kohli’s rough patch, they were seen attending the kirtan.
Notably, Virat Kohli, who retired from T20I cricket along with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja is unlikely to feature in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. The 35-year-old has requested BCCI for an extended break, along with Rohit Sharma. However, reports have revealed that the duo will return for the series ahead seeing the 2025 Champions Trophy, set to be played in Pakistan.
