The former Indian cricket captain and modern-day great Virat Kohli was spotted playing with a puppy during a practice session in Colombo. The cricketing icon is not only known for his on-field aggressive batting skills but also for his love towards animals. The India batter has time and again talked about his love towards the voiceless creatures, and earlier had a pet dog, named Bruno. Recently, the Delhi-born cricketer was seen playing with a puppy while training for the forthcoming encounter in the Asia Cup 2023

The Men in Blue, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, will lock horns with the arch-rivals Pakistan in the Super 4s clash in Colombo on September 10, Sunday. Earlier, the neighbouring nations locked horns in the group stage, which later got abandoned due to rain just before the second innings.

The video of Delhi boy playing with the puppy has been doing rounds on social media, where a puppy joined him, and other India players were playing football during their practice session.

While India's season opener at the Asia Cup 2023 got washed out due to rain, the seven-time title winners met Nepal in their second encounter. In the rain affected game, the Indian side successfully chased the target and by winning the match by 10 wickets, they booked their spot in the Super Four stage of the event.
