After his 21-run knock in the middle, the Indian batter was spotted showcasing his fun-loving side. The Indian batter was spotted grooving to Thalapathy Vijay’s popular single ‘Appadi Podu’ during Chennai Super Kings’ inning in the IPL 2024 opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The incident, which is doing rounds on social media notably took place during the inning break before the Chennai openers in Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra took the guards in the middle.

Talking about the match, the Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bat first. On the back of a gritty knock from Anuj Rawat and quickfire inning from the skipper along with wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik, the side posted 173 runs on the board.
